1) Grand Knight’s Report
a) I would like to thank everyone who helped out at Fr. Simon’s 25th Jubilee celebration, and the Teacher’s formation luncheon. Your hard work is appreciated.
b) The installation Mass for New Officers is at the 7:00 PM Mass on Wednesday 8/13. All members are invited, officers need to be at the church by 6:40 so we can review the ceremony and be ready to go. If an officer can not make it, please let me know and arrange an alternate to fill in for you..
c) I am looking for people to chair our various program activities: Membership, , Family, Youth, Community, and Keep Christ in Christmas. If you are interested in learning more about these areas and/or volunteering, please let me know.
d) We will be holding a 1st Degree Team rehearsal at our 8/18 meeting to prepare for the 1st Degree we will be hosting on 9/15. All members of the Degree Team and their alternates should be there.

e) I have reserved the PLC for August 24th to do a Pancake Breakfast to help raise funds for Isiais Ramos’family. I have not had a chance to talk to Father Paul yet, but have left him a message and written him a letter explaining. I do not forsee any issue, but until I have his clearance we do not want to start announcing it to the Parrish.
f) All Saints will be hosting a 2nd Degree on 8/26 (starts 7:00 PM, candidates there at 6:00) and 9/6 (time TBA). If you are a 1st Degree, please check these dates and let me know if you can attend.
g) There will be a new form 100 (the 100-Q) starting September 1st (do not order before). There are changes to the new member insurance plan that was on the back of the form. It is being dropped and replaced with a new plan, talk to Joe for more details.
h) Talk about the State Raffle tickets, and try to sell as many as you can.
i) Family of the Month
i) I am looking for nominations for the August Family of the Month..
2) Summer Musical "Best of Broadway," August 7, 8, & 9TH –
a) We will need to have at least 8 Knights each night to help bartend and help out waiting tables. Volunteers will need to be at the church at 6:45 PM. Attire is white shirt and black pants. This is always a great event, and a fun time for us in the back.
b) Here is the current list of volunteers. As you can see, we are good shape on Thursday, but need help the remaining nights. If you are able to help out, please let me know which nights you can work.
i) Thursday, August 7 – Need 1 more person and a driver for Bill O’Neal

4) Keep Christ in Christmas
a) Christmas Magnets
i) I have submitted the order and check for 1,000 magnets. We will probably start selling in November and at the Holiday Bazaar.
b) Christmas Cards
i) We need to decide if we will be selling Christmas Cards this year. Also, we will need a chair person to organize the cards and magnets. Please contact me if you are interested.
5) Soccer Challenge/Family Picnic
a) We will be holding the Soccer Challenge and Family Picnic at the PLC and in the parking deck behind the church. The tenatative dates are 9/13 or 9/20
6) Major Fundraiser
a) We need to plan a fundraiser for this fraternal year, to help carry us through with our various financial commitments. Please open for discussion
