Our next meeting is Monday, June 15^th at Bill Magyar’s House.  Food will be served at 7:00 PM, and the meeting will begin at 7:30 PM.  For any of you who have never been to Bill’s I highly recommend you attend.  Words cannot describe his basement.  Those who have been there already know what I mean.  Directions to Bill’s are as follows:

Well as the Fraternal year comes to a close, and my time as Grand Knight is at its end, I can’t help but think back at this past year.  Since last July, we have welcomed over 15 new members and at least 6 transfers to our council.  We have participated in over 45 activities and volunteered over 1,200 hours of service.  The presence of the Knights within the St. Benedict community has never been stronger and we continue to be called on by Fr. Paul and the other ministries to help.  The momentum we have gained this year should carry us on to greater heights as we move forward. I would like to thank all of you for your dedication and support over the past 2 years, especially all the officers who have served our council with tireless devotion. 

Enough of my ramblings, and let me get onto what is coming up in the next few months.

This weekend we will be selling donuts for the RSVP program.  Mike Foutch will be handling this again for us, and will need your help after the morning masses this Sunday.  Please plan on helping out after mass, as the money we raise goes to support the Conklin brothers as well as support our council fund. 

On August 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th we will once again be helping the Music Ministry with their Broadway show.  Bob Zopf ((678) 733-1590 pgk10897@yahoo.com) has agreed to head this up, and will work with Nancy and to round up volunteers.  If you have not helped in the past, we act as bartenders and assist with serving all three nights.  It is usually a great time in the kitchen, and you will be able to enjoy the show as well.

It is also time to start thinking about donut sales in July/August, our family picnic, Installation of New Officers Mass, and the Soccer Challenge.
