Dear Brothers,
We continue to keep a busy schedule and with the rain out of our
last meeting we need to reach out “electronically” to ask for
volunteers to help us participate in the Annual Taste of St. Benedicts Parish Event
next Saturday, October 3rd in the PLC.. As with previous years the
Knights of Columbus will be serving food from Ireland as well as tending bar
for the event. This has always been a fun event to work and is a good event to
jump in and help out with even if you are new to the council. This year we are
fortunate to again have John Meurer coordinate the food and Patrick Gannon to
coordinate the beverages and bartenders. In addition to food from Ireland there
will be several other types of cuisine that will be served including food from:

Colombia
·
Japan
·
Puerto Rico
·
Peru
·
India
Now that we have peaked your appetite / interest J we need
to have the following volunteer positions filled:
Serving Food (from 5:00 to 8:30 PM):
John Meurer
Angelo Sampona
__________________ - Volunteer #1

Serving Beverages (Beer / Wine – in the tent outside the
PLC)
Patrick Gannon
_________________ - Volunteer #3 – 4:00 PM (set up and ice
the beer down)
_________________ - Volunteer #4 – 5:00 to 6:45
_________________ - Volunteer #5 – 5:00 to 6:45
_________________ - Volunteer #6 – 5:00 to 6:45
_________________ - Volunteer #7 – 6:45 to 8:30
_________________ - Volunteer #8 – 6:45 to 8:30
_________________ - Volunteer #9 – 6:45 to 8:30
If we get more than 9 volunteers to sign up we can switch off with
helping to serve food or just make it a bit easier with shorter shifts for all.
So don’t be shy about signing up!
