We are busy preparing for the new fraternal year which starts today! We look forward to an active and rewarding year working together in service to our parish and community. Attached to this email is a letter from our new Grand Knight addressing the council for the upcoming year. Please open and read at your first opportunity.

New GK Angelo - Opening Letter to Council 7/1

Our first meeting of the new year will be on Monday, July 20th and which will include the Installation of Officers ceremony. We are requesting that all Brother Knights in attendance at this meeting wear a coat and tie for this occasion. Here are the details:

6:30 PM - Meeting starts PLC

7:30 PM - Mass - Installation of Officers – Father Paul is the celebrant and our District Deputy, Vin O’Reilly will be participating

8:15 PM - Dinner in the PLC

The Installation of Officers Ceremony is part of a special Mass and all council members and their wives are invited to attend. There may even be a special role for the wives of the new officers in attendance at the Mass. For dinner we are planning a pot luck dinner with the council providing baked lasagna and each knight is asked to brings a side dish, salad or desert to share (more on this later once we know the number of expected attendees). We are planning on having the PLC partitioned so that both brother Knights and their wives can arrive at the same time and all go to Mass  - Installation of Officers Ceremony together at 7:30 PM.

For incoming officers this is an important event and we ask that you plan to attend or request a brother knight to participate in their place at the Installation Ceremony. For all member -  please reply to Ang and myself if you and your wives are planning to attend this meeting so we can prepare for enough lasagna and drinks.

St. Benedict Summer Musical – August 6,7 and 8.

Signups are still underway for helping to serve food and drinks at the annual St. Benedict Summer Musical.
